The brief

.

Honeywell Aerospace wanted a wall that tells the story of where flight is going. Visitors meet an anthem film first; one touch turns the screen into a field of stories they can explore at their own pace.

The challenge

.

The install runs on a 105-inch panel, and a story has to land for someone standing ten feet back. Grids that feel calm on a laptop turn to noise at that size, so type, contrast and touch targets were sized for the far viewer first.

The approach

.

The panel and a landscape companion tablet are equals, not a remote and a screen. Each carries the whole experience with the same structure, and they share one state: whichever was touched last leads.

Direction B ยท images stream through a fixed central reticle

The direction

.

A

Mosaic grid

A photo mosaic that opens a white reading card, with aviation-instrument detail around the edges.

Explored

G

Theme gallery

Scattered cards of varied size over a faint technical grid; it kept the sense of discovery the docked layouts lost.

Explored

B

Telemetry stream

Images flow through a fixed central reticle. The card under it is ready to open and carries live telemetry tags; focus adds a data rail.

Chosen to develop

Where it stands

.

Direction B is moving from concept into full UI for both the panel and the tablet. Final screens and the anthem film will join this page as theyโ€™re cleared for sharing.
